Education & Mentorship

Dr. Joy has spent her 10-year career working in the field of pelvic floor physical therapy and has helped over a thousand patients with their pelvic floor issues. She has provided numerous presentations on various topics including Pelvic Floor 101, Pregnancy & Postpartum Health, and Gender Inclusivity/Trauma Informed Care. She has presented in front of groups of patients and providers at local hospitals including Johns Hopkins and Mercy Medical Center, yoga classes and Fit4Mom groups, as well as hosted a series for the American Physical Therapy Association NY SSIG, Columbia University, and the New York Medical College (Physical Therapy for ALL: Gender-Inclusive & Trauma-Informed Care) and served as a panelist for the American Urological Association "Mid-atlantic Mondays" series ('Innovations and Advancements in Treatment of Female Urinary Incontinence'). She is also the host of Pints & Pelvic Floors: The Podcast.
